Welcome to the Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) section of CaryDirect!

Here, we outline Cary Audio's meticulous process of refurbishing previously owned products obtained through trade-ins or direct purchases from customers and presenting them as Certified Pre-Owned within CaryDirect. Upon receiving a pre-owned Cary Audio product at our North Carolina factory, we initiate the following rigorous certification steps:

1. Visual Inspection: We thoroughly examine the unit inside and out, addressing any cleanliness issues internally and externally.

2. Component Assessment: We check for loose parts, solder and board connections, excessive wear, or damaged components and ensure they are restored to optimal performance levels.

3. Connector Check: All connectors are cleaned, and connections are verified for integrity.

4. Repair and Replacement: Parts are repaired or replaced as needed, with new tubes included for tube products.

Once these steps are completed, the unit undergoes a twenty-four (24) hour pre-testing and burn-in period. Subsequently, it is subjected to our Quality Control Procedures, documented on our Quality Control Checklists, just like new production units. Before packaging for shipment, the unit receives a thorough cleaning and polishing.

In addition to the meticulous certification process, every Certified Pre-Owned Cary Audio product is backed by a 90-day warranty, as outlined in the Cary Audio Certified Pre-Owned Sales and Warranty Policies. Additionally, you have the option to extend the warranty to one year for an additional cost during checkout.

Each Certified Pre-Owned Cary Audio product is meticulously refurbished to minimize cosmetic imperfections, ensuring it looks as close to new as possible, both internally and externally.
