Sales Policy

Shipping: Customer is responsible for shipping charges on the sale(s) of any or all CPO purchases. The shipping charges will be highlighted within the description of each product and also shown during the check out process.

Sales Tax: Customer shall be responsible for any sales tax as applicable. Such tax rate will be shown at check out.

Returns: CPO sales sales may be returned to Cary Audio for any reason within 30 days of purchase for a credit/refund. Customer may return goods at their expense for a full credit of the purchase price less less a 20% restocking fee and any damages or missing parts if applicable. Any returns must be managed through the RMA Procedures as described below. The credit/refund will be processed the same as the purchase. For example, if paid by credit card we will credit the credit card. If paid by check a refund check will be issued.

Defective or DOA product: Defective CPO unit is defined as a non or improper working unit (excluding tubes). Defective does not apply to any cosmetic flaw or imperfection of unit. If a product is deemed defective or DOA within 14 days of purchase date as shown on sales invoice, Cary Audio will refund full purchase amount less shipping charges. If returned product is found to be free of performance issues or tampered with in any way, a service fee of 20% will be applied to the return. Customer may also use the Warranty Repair option below if they wish to keep the unit.

Warranty

Cary Audio CPO warranty period is 90 DAYS from the date on the sales invoice. The specified warranty period shall cover parts and labor throughout the warranty period. Vacuum tubes have a 90 DAY exchange period for defective tubes. Warranty period starts from the date of the sales invoice.

The warranty period can be extended to one (1) year from the date on the sales invoice for a nominal fee. The extension is available at check-out.

Warranty Repairs: Any claim for service under the limited warranty requires a copy of the original sales invoice/receipt as provided from Cary Audio. The receipt will include the original purchaser’s name, address, phone number or email address and the original selling date of the component. The limited warranty is for the original customer only and does not transfer to any subsequent owner.

Customer is responsible for shipping goods to Cary Audio by insured carrier and properly packed, preferably in original packaging.

Cary Audio will pay return freight to the customer on all warranty service items.

Out of Warranty Repairs: Cary Audio charges a standard “Bench Fee” of $125.00 plus parts for repairs. Repair beyond one (1) hour will incur $95.00 per additional hour. If other modifications are desired, we will provide an estimate prior to working on any out of warranty product.

Customer is responsible for shipping goods both ways to and from Cary Audio.
